Epic Utah Combo Adventure – YWE

3 days at the Big Rock Candy Mountain, 3 days Backpacking in the Tushars
If you’re passionate about adventure and preparing for a mission, this is the YWE trip for you! The first three days will be filled with thrilling activities like river rafting, rappelling, zip-lining, climbing, and so much more!
The second half of the trip will take us deep into the mighty Tushar Mountains for a 4-day, 3-night backpacking trek. Each day, we’ll hike to new destinations, and each night, we’ll camp beneath the stars.
In the mornings, we’ll dive into powerful scripture studies, and around the campfire each night, we’ll reflect on how we discovered the hand of our Divine Creator throughout the day. This trip is designed not only for those who love adventure, but also for young men and women preparing to serve missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, helping you build spiritual strength as you explore God’s creations.
This adventure is physically demanding, and you must be in excellent condition to participate. During the backpacking portion, we’ll carry heavy packs and ascend to altitudes above 12,000 feet. If you’re ready to challenge yourself physically and spiritually, this is the perfect trip for you!
*For this adventure you will need to bring your own backpack and sleeping gear (backpack, pad, sleeping bag, tarp/tent)
